Flyers and Posters Distributed as part of Consumer Education and Awareness
The ICT Authority regularly delivers consumer education outreach sessions to raise awareness about the issues pertinent to consumers in a converged ICT environment.
Flyers and posters are distributed particularly to youth to inform them about the opportunities but also the risks and dangers which they may face in the cyberspace.
Consumers of information and communication services are urged to stay informed and to act responsibly during their interactions on the Internet by applying an approach of Netiquette.
Dozens of institutions have taken part in the Consumer Outreach Awareness Campaign of the Authority.
They include colleges, tertiary education institutions, the Ministry of Gender Equality, Child Development and Family Welfare, the Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Sports and Recreation and the National Social Inclusion Foundation amongst others.
