New Mobile Numbering Plan Sept 2013

New Numbering Plan comes into effect today

Port Louis: The Information and Communication Technologies Authority (ICTA) has announced that the new numbering plan for mobile networks in the Republic of Mauritius comes into effect today, that is, 01 September 2013. 

As from now subscribers must add the prefix 5 to the previous 7-digit numbers of their called parties whenever they dial numbers which operate on mobile networks in the Republic of Mauritius.
